Open News Digest is a news service that fetches article details from various news sources. Search capabilities on news source websites are often poor and often don't get you what you were looking for. This app is API driven and not only retrieves article details, which allow you to decide if the article is worth reading but it allows you to email the article details including a direct link to the article itself to yourself or someone else. It is built with AngularJS to handle the front end and uses an API service built with Ruby on Rails to create and send emails. First pick a calendar day [that exists], then begin your search.
